A large cast iron shoemaker's last, weighing approximately 2.1kg. A last is a solid, foot-shaped form — essentially a small anvil — that a shoe is placed onto for repair work. It provides a firm, stable surface for hammering, gluing, nailing and stitching during re-soling, re-heeling and general shoe repairs.
This is the larger version, suitable for men's shoes and boots. An essential tool for anyone carrying out DIY shoe repairs at home or in a workshop. The heavy cast iron construction absorbs hammer blows without moving.
