3/8" Quadrant Trim
Previous
Scotia moulding is a small timber trim section with a concave (hollow) curved profile. It is one of the most versatile and widely used internal mouldings for covering gaps, finishing joins and adding a neat transitional detail between surfaces.
Its most common use is covering the expansion gap around the perimeter of laminate and solid wood flooring — fitted between the edge of the flooring and the skirting board, it hides the necessary gap without requiring the skirting to be removed or replaced. It is also widely used under the nosing of stair treads to cover the join between the horizontal tread and the vertical riser, and as a general interior corner or trim detail in kitchens, bathrooms and living spaces. The natural pine finish can be painted, stained, oiled or varnished to match the surrounding floor or trim.
