Irwin Glass & Tile Drill Bit - 6mm

This Irwin 6mm glass and tile drill bit is designed to start accurately on hard glazed surfaces that make ordinary drill bits skid or crack the tile. It is suited to ceramic tiles, porcelain and glass when you need a clean hole for mirrors, brackets, shelves, towel rails and other bathroom or kitchen fixings.

Use it in standard drill mode only — never hammer action. Start slowly, keep pressure light and use low RPM; water cooling also helps on harder materials. Once through the tile or glass surface, switch to the appropriate masonry bit if you still need to drill the wall behind.
