Brass Wood Screw 1½" x No.8 — Single
Timco Classic® ZYP Pozi Wood Screws 6.0 x 80mm — Box of 200
Previous
A solid brass wood screw in a 1½ inch length and No.8 gauge (approximately 4.2mm diameter). Brass screws are used where a corrosion-resistant, non-staining fastener is needed or where the screw head will be visible and a decorative matching finish is preferred — most commonly with brass door furniture, cabinet hinges, box hinges, drawer runners and traditional woodwork fittings.
Brass is softer than steel, so drive with care — do not overtighten, and avoid use in hardwoods without a well-prepared pilot hole or the screw may shear. Use a pilot and clearance hole for best results. The head type may vary (countersunk or raised countersunk) — check the head profile for your fitting's requirements. Single screw supplied.
