Carriage Bolt M10 x 60mm

A carriage bolt has a smooth rounded dome head and a square shoulder beneath that bites into the timber face, preventing the bolt from spinning as the nut is tightened from the other side. This makes fitting straightforward — no need to hold the head with a spanner. The domed head also gives a neater face on the visible side compared to a standard hex bolt.

The M10 x 60mm size suits joining 35–50mm timber sections, bracket fixing, gate frame assembly and other structural timber joinery where a removable through-bolt is preferred. Use with a compatible M10 nut and large washer on the nut side.
