Details

An M6 x 40mm zinc plated carriage bolt, also known as a coach bolt. The smooth dome head gives a neat, snag-free finish on the visible side, while the square section under the head grips into timber to prevent spinning when the nut is tightened from behind.

Used for assembling fences, gates, decking, pergolas and general structural timber work. Requires an appropriate nut and washer (sold separately) and a 10mm spanner.

Supplied as: 1 x M6 x 40mm carriage bolt. Nut sold separately.
