Rawlbolt M8 Projecting Bolt Shield Anchor — 10P, Heavy-Duty Expansion Fixing

The Rawlbolt is the original heavy-duty mechanical expansion anchor — a three-piece expanding steel sleeve that is hammered into a pre-drilled hole in concrete, brick or stone, with a projecting bolt that is then tightened to expand the sleeve against the sides of the hole for an extremely strong fixing. It is the go-to fixing for heavy loads in solid masonry where a standard wall plug and screw is not strong enough.

The M8 10P version has an M8 bolt with a 10mm projection above the surface — suitable for fixing components or brackets directly to the masonry face where 10mm of thread protrusion is needed. Typical applications include heavy shelving, structural steel connections, machinery bases, gate posts and anchor points in concrete and solid masonry. Suitable for cracked and non-cracked concrete, hollowcore slabs, flooring blocks and ceramics. Drill hole size: 14mm. Recommended torque: approximately 20Nm in concrete.
