Mushroom Mortice Knob Furniture 2⅛"

Mortice knob furniture consists of a pair of matching door knobs, spindle and rose plates (backplates) for fitting to an internal door that has a mortice latch or lock already in place. You turn the knob to retract the latch bolt and open the door — the knob replaces a lever handle and suits styles where a more traditional or period look is preferred.

The mushroom shape has a wider, flatter dome than a ball or oval knob, giving a comfortable grip that suits traditional and farmhouse interior styles. Check the knob spindle compatibility and rose size against your existing mortice before ordering. Rose diameter approx. 2⅛" (54mm), knob diameter approx. 2" (51mm).
