Raw Aluminium U-Shaped Squared Profile - 6mm x 6mm x 1m

A 1 metre raw aluminium U-section (channel) profile with a very small 6mm x 6mm section for edging, capping and guiding the edges of thin panels, boards or slim sections. At this small size, the channel is suited to very thin material — craft board, thin plywood, balsa, card or similar lightweight substrates where a neat metal edge cap is wanted.

The 1mm wall thickness means the channel is lightweight and easy to cut with a fine-tooth saw. Common uses include edging thin hobby and craft panels, creating small guide tracks for sliding components in model making and light fabrication, and finishing the cut edges of very thin sheet material. Cut to length with a hacksaw or craft saw and fix with adhesive or micro-fasteners as appropriate.
