Raw Aluminium Unequal Corner Profile - 10mm x 40mm x 1m

This aluminium unequal corner profile has a significant difference between its two legs — 10mm on one side and 40mm on the other — which makes it a more specialised section than a standard unequal angle. It is useful where one face of a corner needs substantial coverage (for example lapping well onto a large panel surface or forming a significant overlap onto an adjacent board) while the other edge just needs a small retaining lip.

Common uses include step nosing trim where the vertical riser is narrow but the tread overhang needs to be wider, panel edge finishing where the board thickness is much less than the surface run, and fabrication work where an asymmetric angle bracket or guide is needed. Raw aluminium can be cut with a hacksaw and left natural or painted.
