For borders simply clear the area of weeds, roll the fabric out over the cleared area with a 6cm overlap, cut crosses to plant new plants through and slits for existing plants
Spread a 5cm layer of bark mulch over the fabric to finish
For paving cover the fabric with 5cm of sand
