T-Shape Double Ceiling Hook

A T-shape ceiling hook has a flattened T-shaped base plate that is screwed to the ceiling surface — the wide arms of the T distribute the fixing load across the ceiling board — with a downward hook or ring projecting from the centre for hanging items. This design gives more secure fixing than a single-point screw hook on plasterboard or timber-lined ceilings.

Common uses include hanging ceiling-mounted plants and hanging baskets, pendant light fittings, decorative mobiles, party decorations and lightweight suspended displays in homes, shops and offices. Fix into a ceiling joist where possible for maximum strength, or use appropriate plasterboard anchors if fixing between joists.
