Securit Picture Pins with Brass Heads
Previous
Veneer pins are very fine nails with a small head, used for fixing delicate or thin timber components where a standard nail would split the wood or leave too obvious a fixing mark. The slim shank minimises splitting risk in thin sections, and the small head can be punched below the surface and filled for an almost invisible finish.
Common applications include fixing cock bead mouldings, small quadrant beadings, edge veneer strips, small architrave details, picture frame components and other fine finishing work in cabinet making, furniture making and interior joinery. The 20mm length suits beadings and mouldings of approximately 6–15mm thickness. The 50g pack gives a useful quantity for ongoing project work. Pin with a small pin hammer or lightweight tack hammer, and use a nail punch to set the head below the surface.
