For use on glass, work surfaces and equipment such as knives and tools in utility rooms, garages, greenhouses and other outbuildings, Greenhouse Disinfectant will sanitise your utensils and working areas quickly. A concentrated cleaner with added citrus oils, Greenhouse Disinfectant is also suitable for cleaning slime build up in capillary matting and irrigation systems as well as preventing blocked and clogged pipes. Not just confined to the greenhouse, this versatile cleaner can be used for cleaning bird tables and ornamental pots.
Greenhouse Disinfectant:
-
Applied using a hand-operated or low pressure-sprayer, or traditional cloths and mops
-
Sanitises pre-cleaned surfaces within five minutes
-
Contains benzalkonium chloride with orange oil
-
All surfaces which require cleaning should be pre-cleaned beforehand to remove surface dirt. Leave the Greenhouse Disinfectant to soak in areas with heavy, dried on soil deposits.
How to use:
One capful contains 20ml.
Apply using a hand-operated or low pressure-sprayer, or traditional mop and bucket. Mix 150ml Disinfectant with 4.5 litres of water
Pre-Cleaning
Remove as much surface dirt as possible before applying. Soaking improves the efficiency of all cleaning operations, particularly in the removal of heavy, dried on soil deposits on floors and work surfaces.
Sanitisation of Pre-Cleaned Surfaces
Drench all surfaces. Leave for at least 5 minutes contact time then rinse surfaces with clean water.
For cleaning irrigation pipes and capillary matting
Mix 50ml disinfectant with 1.5 litres of water. Flush the system thoroughly for 15 minutes in the absence of plants and rinse out system with clean water.
Note: If there is evidence of lime scale build up, de-scale the system with a proprietary de-scaler prior to flushing with disinfectant.
Keep out of reach of children and where possible wear protective gloves and face protection.
