To maximise the life of your hot water bottle you should observe the following points
- Do not use boiling water as this causes the rubber to persish
- When not in use, completely drain and store with the stopper removed in a cool dark place
- Fill the bottle to a maximum of two thirds holding it upright by its neck and shoulder
- Expel air until water appears at the opening
- Screw the stopper tight to ensure there is no leakage
- Check the stopper regularly
