How to Grow
Sow directly into well-prepared soil at a depth of 5cm (2"), spacing seeds 20cm (8") apart. For best results, plant in double rows with 23cm (9") between lines and 60–90cm (24–36") between rows. Germination typically takes 7–21 days.
Seeds can also be started indoors in pots or trays and transplanted later. Grow in a sheltered, sunny position with well-drained soil. Pinch out tips to help prevent blackfly and water regularly during dry periods to support pod development. Crops are ready in approximately 14 weeks.
