1/2" 3bar Brass Safety Valve with Pressure Gauge

This valve has been designed to provide hydraulic protection and pressure build up relief in an open or closed vented wet central heating system.
It is factory calibrated to the pressure indicated.

How it works:

A sprung loaded rubber diaphragm bears down on a flat "seat" at the pressure indicated.
When the pressure within the system becomes greater than this pressure; the diaphragm is forced up and off the "seat" providing an escape for the water and thus providing for the re-establishment of normal operating pressure.
