Hot Rolled Varnished Steel Flat Strip - 35mm x 6mm x 1m

This is a solid flat steel bar section, wider and thicker than a thin strap, suited to fabrication jobs where more structural substance is needed. At 35mm wide and 6mm thick, it provides good stiffness and load-bearing capacity for custom brackets, shelf support plates, gate braces, door threshold plates, strap hinges and general structural metal fabrication.

The varnished finish protects the steel during storage. It can be cut with an angle grinder or hacksaw, drilled with HSS bits and welded, bolted or screwed in most fabrication applications. The 1m length suits shorter bracket and brace applications without the handling challenges of a 2m bar.
