Raw Aluminium Round Rod - 4mm x 1m

This is a solid aluminium round bar in a 4mm diameter — a very slim section suited to fine fabrication tasks where a smaller rod is needed than standard 6mm or 8mm stock. At 4mm, it is useful for hinge pins on small boxes and lids, spacer inserts in fabricated assemblies, model making frameworks, custom hanging pegs, jewellery and craft work, and other small precision tasks where a lightweight non-ferrous metal rod of this size is the right choice.

Aluminium at 4mm diameter is easy to cut cleanly with a hacksaw, file smooth and drill through. It is significantly lighter than a steel rod of the same size and will not rust. Raw finish can be left natural, painted or anodised. The 1m length yields multiple shorter pieces for batch use.
