Everyone up and down the country must now know of this new craze - Kids Slime..

Its the slimey, goo-ey, malleable, stretchy, colourful substance that every kid in the country wants to make.

I’m sure you’ve heard of many different ways to make it, and therein lies the only part of the job that isn’t 100% slimey fun.

What to use and how to make it?

So below we’ve laid out an easy guide on how to make kids slime:

Ingredients

Laundry Starch,

PVA Glue,

Food Colouring

Hot water

Once you have all the ingredients, you will need 2 mixing bowls and 2 mixing spoons.

Now the fun begins

1 - In one bowl pour in the glue and then add the food colouring. Mix it well to bring out the colour.

2 - In the other bowl add about the same amount of warm water as the glue you added to the other bowl. Add to the water 4 tablespoons of the laundry starch. Mix it until the starch is fully dissolved.

3 - When the mixture of water and starch is a nice milky colour add 6 tablespoons of it into your bowl of coloured glue.

4 - Stir well.

5 - When it starts to look like slime you then knead it like you would a dough mixture.

6 - End result, your goo-ey slime!

If when you are making the slime it sticks to your fingers, add some more laundry starch to the mixture.

If your mixture is too firm and not slimey enough, add some more glue.
