How to Grow
-
Sow thinly directly into warm, moist, well-prepared soil at a depth of 50mm (2"). Create flat drills approximately 15cm wide in double rows, spacing seeds about 5cm apart. Leave 60–90cm between rows.
-
Germination takes 7–10 days. Support plants with twiggy sticks or pea netting as they grow.
-
Water well during dry weather to encourage strong flowering and pod formation. Harvest regularly and pick pods while peas are still small and tender for the best flavour.
