M6 x 60mm Roofing Bolt

A roofing bolt with a large domed mushroom head designed to sit over corrugated roofing sheet, guttering and metal cladding without tearing the material around the fixing point. The large head spreads the clamping load over a greater area, reducing distortion and the risk of the sheet tearing around the hole.

This M6 x 60mm zinc plated version suits standard-depth roofing sheet assemblies. Use with an M6 nut and washer — a sealing EPDM washer is recommended for weathertight applications. Common uses include fixing corrugated steel and GRP sheets to timber purlin roofs, outbuilding and lean-to roofing, and guttering and cladding rail fixings.
