How to Grow
-
Sow seeds from April to early June in a propagator on a windowsill or in a greenhouse at 20–25°C using moist, good-quality compost.
-
Plant one seed on its edge per 7.5cm pot and cover with 19mm of compost.
-
Germination takes 5–8 days.
-
Grow on and plant outdoors once all risk of frost has passed, spacing plants 90cm apart each way.
-
Alternatively, sow direct outdoors in late May, placing 2 seeds per station 90cm apart and thinning to the strongest plant.
-
This is a trailing variety, so allow plenty of space for growth.
